In a March 2023 event at Chatham House titled "Ethics of Dealing with Authoritarians," Carnegie Council President Joel Rosenthal joined Leslie Vinjamuri, Director, US and the Americas Programme, Chatham House for a roundtable discussion on how democracies and multilateral institutions can leverage ethics as a tool to assess concerns and trade-offs when engaging with illiberal actors.
