Carnegie Council Joins Intelligence Squared as Online Partner

Apr 27, 2010

Carnegie Council is proud to announce that it is now an online partner on the Intelligence Squared website. Intelligence Squared is Britain's premier debating forum, providing a unique platform for the world's leading figures in politics, journalism, and the media to contest the most important issues of the day, be they political, social, intellectual or historical.

The Carnegie Council partnership page features six videos chosen by Intelligence Squared. Current shows include Deborah Amos on the eclipse of the Sunnis; two videos on Afghanistan; and George Friedman on Obama's foreign policy.

"Carnegie Council is delighted to partner with Intelligence Squared," says Carnegie Council President Joel Rosenthal. "We have long admired the organization, and this provides an excellent opportunity to extend our audience. We are confident that anyone concerned with the importance of ethical values in international affairs will find our videos stimulating and useful." Please note that this new page highlights a mere fraction of the Council videos. Carnegie Council hosts and films over 50 events a year. All these videos are available, along with audios, and transcripts, at http://www.carnegiecouncil.org. A selection of these full-length videos is also edited down to half-hour programs.

In addition, Carnegie Council produces Global Ethics Corner, a weekly two-minute video on current events. Find this on the Council website, on iTunes, and on YouTube, along with clips of all Carnegie Council videos.
