Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is proud to announce Season Five of Global Ethics Forum, a weekly half-hour television show where leading thinkers and policymakers discuss ethics and vital issues in global affairs.
The first show features journalist and author Ahmed Rashid, discussing the deepening crisis in Afghanistan and in his native Pakistan. Other guests this season include Foreign Policy magazine CEO David Rothkopf on the rivalry between business and government, and Lt. Gen. Romeo Dallaire on child soldiers. Global Ethics Forum airs across the United States every Sunday on MHz Worldview Channel. "We will celebrate our 100th episode of Global Ethics Forum this season," said Deborah Carroll, executive producer of the Council's in-house Carnegie Ethics Studio."It will feature a workshop with Mary C. Gentile, director of Giving Voice to Values, which offers practical ways that managers and even junior employees can make their firms behave more ethically.
"Starting in October, we will offer bonus material online and the Sunday time slot on MHz will shift from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We have received favorable comments from viewers all over the United States, which shows that there is a sizable audience that is deeply interested in informed and intelligent discussions on the role of ethics in international affairs. So we are looking forward to another successful season."
