Carnegie Council Announces Carnegie Corporation Grant for "Ethics for a Connected World" Project

Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is pleased to announce that it has received a two-year grant for a total of $450,000 from Carnegie Corporation of New York to support the next phase of its educational activities.

"Ethics for a Connected World" is an ongoing Carnegie Council initiative that produces educational programs and multimedia and print publications on ethics and international relations. It creates curricula for classrooms, and develops community networks of both young and established moral leaders. The primary goal of these programs and resources is to spark critical thinking and reasoned ethical discussion of global scale challenges, including climate change, democracy, inequality, technology, and migration. "This generous grant will bolster the Council's capacity to engage students, educators, policy professionals, thought leaders, and members of the public in common conversation on global issues," said Joel Rosenthal, president of Carnegie Council. "With the support of Carnegie Corporation, we will continue to expand our reach and generate nonpartisan, inclusive discussions among a worldwide audience." Carnegie Council resources include:
