Carnegie Council is excited to announce the second cohort of our Carnegie Ethics Fellows program. These ten exceptional Fellows—drawn from the business, academia, tech, government, and nonprofit communities—will continue to enhance their commitment to ethical leadership while working closely with the Council over the next two years (2025-2026).
Throughout 2025 and 2026, the Fellows will engage in a series of specialized modules exploring the most pressing issues at the intersection of ethics and international affairs. Together, the cohort will examine ethical leadership in practice and engage with the Council's global community of experts. The Fellowship will culminate in December 2026 with a series of novel research projects on emerging ethical issues.
“In this moment of political polarization and social fracture, the Carnegie Ethics Fellowship stands as the Council’s signature program supporting the development of next-generation leaders. Through their professional accomplishments and commitment to public service, the Fellows of this dynamic cohort are demonstrating that ethical leadership is not only necessary, but within reach. Through their efforts, they are tapping deep into the Council’s legacy, renewing it, and making it relevant to the most urgent issues of our times. We feel fortunate that the Council will have the opportunity to learn from these Fellows, each of whom is bringing new perspectives and experiences that will help to further our institution’s mission to empower ethics.” - Joel Rosenthal, President, Carnegie Council
