Ahed Al Hendi is the founder of Syrian Youth for Justice and the Arabic program coordinator of CyberDissidents.org.
As a student in Syria, Al Hendi was imprisoned and tortured for political activism. He fled his homeland shortly thereafter and has lived in the United States ever since.
