Ayushi Khemka is Killam Doctoral Laureate, Department of Philosophy, University of Alberta Alberta. hShe is working on the intersections of feminist ethics, online gender-based violence, social network analysis, and digital humanities. Khemka hosted Carnegie Council's AI for Information Accessibility podcast.

Khemka is also a research assistant at AI4Society, University of Alberta, working on issues around artificial intelligence and information accessibility. She is currently engaged in decolonizing digital humanities (DH) and internationalizing DH tools as part of her research projects.

In addition to Khemka's academic ventures, she is an award-winning writer on mental health and lived experience. She actively works on mental health and its social determinants through her platform called Mental Health Talks Initiative.

She earned her Master of Philosophy in women's studies, and Master of Arts in English from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her BA (Honours) degree is in English from the University of Delhi.
