Bio
Bret Gustafson is assistant professor of anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is a fluent speaker of Guarani and has done research and collaborative work on Guarani language education with the Assembly of the Guarani people of Bolivia. He has helped produce texts for local usage in both Guarani and Spanish and is completing a book on indigenous movements and education reform in Bolivia.
