Bio
Carolina Quinteros is a member of the board of directors of the Independent Monitoring Group in El Salvador (GMIES), an organization that monitors codes of conduct in maquila factories. She served as executive director of GMIES from 1996 to 2003. She has participated in national and international campaigns demanding corporate social responsibility and better labor conditions in El Salvador from large apparel companies and their suppliers.
