Christopher Schlottmann

Chris Schlottmann is an assistant professor of environmental studies at New York University, where he serves as associate chair of the Environmental Studies Program. He teaches courses on climate and society, food, animals and the environment, and environmental education.

Schlottmann's book with Dale Jamieson and Lori Gruen is Reflecting on Nature: Readings in Environmental Ethics and Philosophy (Oxford, 2012). His research focuses on how environmental education and environmental ethics intersect, and the role of advocacy in education.
