Bio
David P. Hunt is currently chairman of both Charles Pratt & Co., L.L.C. in New York City and the Dosoris Trust Company.
In 1995, Hunt retired as a senior officer from the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served for 32 years, primarily in the Directorate of Operations. He served extensively overseas with tours in Italy, Vietnam, Somalia, Norway, France, and in New York City. He developed expertise in Soviet operations, European affairs and counterintelligence. He also served with the U.S. Army and spent a year with the Counterintelligence Corps in Korea.
Hunt holds the Donovan Award for Excellence as well as the Agency's Distinguished Intelligence Medal, its highest award. Hunt serves on the boards of the Adirondack Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and the Sustainable Developmental Institute in Washington. Hunt is a graduate of St. Paul's School, attended school in Switzerland, and holds a B.A. in History/Government from Colby College in Maine.
