Bio
Evgeny Morozov is a contributing editor to The New Republic.
In 2010–2012 Morozov was a visiting scholar at Stanford University and a Schwartz fellow at the New America Foundation. In 2009–2010 he was a fellow at Georgetown University and in 2008–2009 he was a fellow at the Open Society Foundations.
Before moving to the U.S., Morozov was based in Berlin and Prague, where he was director of new media at Transitions Online, a media development NGO active in 29 countries of the former Soviet bloc.
He is the author of To Save Everything, Click Here: The Folly of Technological Solutionism and the prize-winning book, The Net Delusion: The Dark Side of Internet Freedom.
