George A. Lopez is the Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., Professor Emeritus of Peace Studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame. He is a leading expert on economic sanctions, peacebuilding, and various peace-related issues.
