Henry Chang is a novelist and poet.
Chang has written a series of detective novels focusing on New York City's Chinatown: Chinatown Beat, Year of the Dog, Red Jade, and Death Money. His poems have appeared in the Yellow Pearl anthology and in Gangs In New York’s Chinatown. Chang has also written for Bridge Magazine, and his fiction has appeared in On A Bed Of Rice and in the NuyorAsian Anthology.
Chang has also worked as a lighting consultant, and a security director for hotels, commercial properties, and retail businesses in Manhattan.
