Bio

Ian Higham is a research assistant at the Institute for International Economic Policy at George Washington University. He graduated from GWU's Elliott School of International Affairs in May 2011 with a B.A. in international affairs.

Ian Higham received special honors from the Elliott School for a senior thesis on the United Nations framework for business and human rights. He studied in Copenhagen, Denmark for the 2009–2010 academic year at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. His coursework there included human rights, corporate social responsibility, European Union politics, and human trafficking, giving him an international perspective on globalization issues.
