Joshua D. Greene is John and Ruth Hazel Associate Professor of the Social Sciences in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University and director of Harvard's Moral Cognition Lab.
Greene was previously an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University and a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University.
Greene is the author of Moral Tribes: Emotion, Reason, and the Gap between Us and Them. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the MacArthur Foundation. Greene has appeared on Charlie Rose and Scientific American Frontiers. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Discover magazine, WNYC's Radiolab, and NPR's Morning Edition.
