Bio
Juana Sotomayor is coordinator of the Training and Promotion of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights program at the Centro de Derechos Economicos y Sociales (CDES) in Ecuador. As a fellow for the Carnegie Council’s Human Rights Initiative in 2000, she researched the public legitimacy of economic, social, and cultural rights in small towns in Ecuador.
