Bio
Julie Mellin is getting her M.A. in International Affairs at New School University, with a concentration in conflict and security.
Previously, she held an internship with the World Policy Institute, in which she edited blog posts and magazine articles and was published on the organization's web site. She also serves at co-editor for Contexts, a journal edited and published by students in the graduate program of international affairs at The New School.
Mellin speaks Spanish and Setswana; she spent two years in Botswana as part of Peace Corps, working on HIV/AIDS prevention.
