Kathy Kim has more than ten years of experience in AI, data, technology innovation, and partnership building across public and private sectors for c-suite to cross-functional teams engagements. She currently works with the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Office of the Federal CIO (OFCIO) AI Team and engages stakeholders on AI across the Executive Office of the President and federal agencies. Her prior experiences include leading or contributing to technical and non-technical teams, focused on AI governance and risk management, applied data science for mission or policy challenges, business development, vendor/partnerships, and etc.

As an active public speaker on AI and volunteering, Kim was recognized in May 2024 as a "Rising Star" by Women in Technology (WIT), a nonprofit highlighting women leaders making significant impacts in the technology space. She was also invited in 2023 as a Global Shaper to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Summer Davos, Annual Meeting of New Champions, in China, and also the Annual Curator’s Meeting in Geneva. Other speaking or conferences invitations include the Atlantik Bruecke Young Leaders Conference in Germany, Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, Institute of Technology Law & Policy at Georgetown University, and more.
