Kyoko Gasha is a documentary film director and a reporter and producer for Thomson Reuters in New York City.
A native of Japan, Gasha began her career as a broadcast journalist at TV Tokyo in 1987. In 1991-1992, she received a Fulbright scholarship and attended the Michigan Journalism Fellow Program. In 2001, Gasha was hired by Reuters as a reporter and moved to New York.
In 2009, she released the documentary film Mothers’ Way, Daughters' Choice.
