Bio
Larry May is professor of philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis. While working on his Ph.D., he was Hannah Arendt's last research assistant. He also has a law degree.
May is the author of The Morality of Groups (1987), Sharing Responsibility (1992), The Socially Responsive Self (1996), Masculinity and Morality (1998), and Crimes Against Humanity (2005). He has also co-authored or co-edited eleven other books, the most recent of which is The Morality of War (2005).
