Lawrence Kaplan is senior editor at The New Republic, where he writes about U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. He also writes for Commentary, The Wall Street Journal, The Weekly Standard, The Washington Post, as well as numerous other publications.
Previously, he was executive editor of The National Interest, the foreign policy journal published by Irving Kristol.
