Lester Brown is president and founder of the Earth Policy Institute and founder and former president of Worldwatch Institute. He is recognized as one of the most influential figures in the modern environmental movement. Brown is a prolific writer of nearly 30 books, including: World Without Borders, Building a Sustainable Society; Saving the Planet, Who Will Feed China, Eco-Economy: Building an Economy for the Earth, and PLAN B: Rescuing a Planet under Stress and a Civilization in Trouble.
