Marie Yempuku has a BA in international studies and a minor in Japanese language from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She is currently a law student at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
As a Carnegie Ethics Fellow for the Future, Marie hopes to strengthen her understanding of the interface between local and global issues, particularly in the areas of agriculture and public land conservation. She looks forward to contributing to the collaborative projects and discussions with other mentees and to the in-person workshop in October 2015.
