Bio
Martyn Evans is the chief executive of the Carnegie UK Trust. Evans was previously director of the Scottish Consumer Council (SCC) and then Consumer Focus Scotland, a statutory body which provides independent policy research and a voice for the consumer.
He was also a visiting professor of law at the University of Strathclyde from 1995–2001 and the director of Shelter (Scottish campaign for homeless people) from 1987–1992.
