Bio
Matthew Brummer is a lecturer at Tokyo International University and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tokyo.
He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University. His research examines the political economy of national innovation systems, with particular focus paid to the East Asian region, and seeks to provide clues as to why one country innovates over time while another does not.
