Melissa Semeniuk is chief of staff, Office of the President. In this capacity, she serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the Office of the President. She also serves as a liaison to the board of trustees, organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts, and supports special projects, including the Council's recent 2014 centennial activities.
In addition, Semeniuk is database administrator and has transitioned the Council through several generations of database software. She also provides support to the Council's fundraising department and outreach efforts.
Semeniuk's career at the Council has afforded her the opportunity to work with the Council's senior fellows and staff organizing international conferences and public events. She earned her BA in psychology from Hunter College.
