Bio
Miroslav Vanek is director of the Center of Oral History and a senior researcher at the Institute of Contemporary History at the Czech Academy of Science in Prague. His scholarly focus is on the young generation under socialism, including student and ecological movements, as well as the method of oral history. He is currently working on a project, ""Political Elites and Dissidents in the Years 1970-1989 in Czechoslovakia.""
