Nicholas Bayer

Carnegie Ethics Fellow; Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

Nicholas Bayer is the senior communications manager for public engagement at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Since joining the organization in 2017, Bayer has coordinated and supported hundreds of events, from discussion series and virtual project visits, to large scale multimedia exhibitions and global conferences. As a member of the communications department leadership team, he upholds MSF's core mission to bear witness and elevate the voices of the patients in the communities where MSF provides medical care, and shares a commitment to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all communications as the team seeks to inform, engage, and inspire supporters in the United States.

Prior to joining MSF, Nick held positions as HuffPost Pollster at the Marist Institute for Public Opinion, and at The British House of Commons. He also contracts with the Times Square Alliance on event production work for key events like the New Year's Eve ball drop. Bayer graduated from Marist College with a degree in political science and international affairs, with minors in French and music. In his free time, he enjoys making or experiencing live music, spending time outdoors, or reading a good book.
