Rafaello Pantucci is director of international security studies at Royal United Services Institute in London.
Previously, Pantucci spent three years as a visiting scholar at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences in China. He has also worked at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London and the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC. In addition, Pantucci has held positions at the European Council of Foreign Relations and is an associate fellow at the International Center for the Study of Radicalisation at King's College, London.
He is the author of ""We Love Death As You Love Life"": Britain's Suburban Terrorists. His articles have appeared in The New York Times, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sunday Times, CNN, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, South China Morning Post, and other publications.
