Richard Kauffman is the chief executive officer of Good Energies, one of the largest independent investors in renewable energy.
Previously, Kauffman was a managing director of Goldman Sachs and he worked in numerous leadership positions with Morgan Stanley. Kauffman has also been a lecturer in finance and financial accounting at the Yale School of Management and a teaching fellow in foreign policy at Yale College.
Kauffman is on the board of Q-Cells, The Brookings Institution, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Levi Strauss & Co., the New York Philharmonic, the Foreign Policy Association, the Yale School of Management Board of Advisors, The New School, and the French-American Foundation. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
