Bio
Robert Dallek is a historian specializing in U.S. presidents and was a history professor at Boston University. Previously, he taught at Columbia University, UCLA, and Oxford University.
Dallek is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and of the Society of American Historians, where served as president in 2004-2005.
He is the author of ten books, including The New York Times best-sellers, An Unfinished Life: John F. Kennedy, 1917-1963, and Nixon and Kissinger: Partners in Power. He was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in history for the latter book.
Dallek is the recipient of the Bancroft Prize and numerous other awards for scholarship and teaching.
