Robert Park is a Korean-American missionary and human rights activist who entered North Korea on Christmas day of 2009 to protest against genocide and crimes against humanity. He is a founding member of the nonpartisan Worldwide Coalition to Stop Genocide in North Korea.
As a victim of DPRK torture, Park is preparing to file a lawsuit in the U.S. Federal Court under the U.S. Torture Victims Protection Act.
His writings on the North Korean genocide have been featured in the Harvard International Review, Washington Post, Haaretz, the Hill, South China Morning Post, Asia Times, The Diplomat, World Policy, Columbia Journal of International Affairs, National Post, Future Korea Journal, and numerous other publications.
